Andy Herold is a principal and co-founder of Herold & Sager and a highly regarded civil litigator whose practice focuses on complex litigation and insurance coverage matters.

Andy is a member in good standing of the California, Nevada, and Arizona bars and is regularly sought out by clients to handle their most significant cases in those states and across the country.

In recent years, Andy has represented major insurers in a wide range of cases with an excess of $100M in claimed damages in areas that include mass tort, product liability, infrastructure, construction, business disputes, and bad faith.

Andy has experience in litigating all types of insurance-related matters, including through appeal, as representation for both plaintiffs and defendants. In addition to numerous judgments for the defense, he has recovered tens of millions for his clients as a plaintiff.

Andy is a frequent speaker on underwriting and insurance coverage matters, and he is regularly retained to provide training to claims personnel on emerging issues.

Outside of work, in addition to enjoying time with family and friends, Andy has long been active in the community, supporting all manner of local sports and educational activities as well as civic organizations. A lifelong Southern California native, Andy is an avid surfer and enjoys all types of outdoor recreation.
