About F. Maxwell Williamson

Max’s practice includes analyzing complex coverage issues across a variety of claim environments including construction defect and sexual abuse. Max also has prior litigation experience defending cargo, habitability, maritime, personal injury, premises liability, real estate, and construction defect disputes.

Max graduated from Santa Clara University, cum laude, and subsequently earned his J.D. from Tulane Law School. During law school, he was a member of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, Volume 44, a student attorney in the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic, and a summer clerk for the EPA in Washington, D.C. His case note, Look Out or Get Out! The Ninth Circuit Establishes the Look Out Duty of Owner-Passengers in Holzhauer, was published in the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, Volume 43.

Outside of work, Max enjoys practicing Brazilian jujitsu, surfing, gardening, going to the gym, and listening to podcasts.
