About Shelley R. Fortin

Shelley Fortin is Of Counsel at Herold & Sager.

Shelley’s practice includes preparing detailed coverage evaluations to insurers regarding coverage for liability claims under various insurance policies, including commercial general liability, umbrella liability, excess liability, professional liability, healthcare professional liability, healthcare umbrella, public entity liability, pollution, and homeowner’s insurance policies. Shelley also represents insurers in declaratory judgment, bad faith, contribution, and subrogation litigation in state and federal courts.

Shelley graduated from the University of California San Diego and subsequently earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law.

Outside of work, Shelley enjoys spending time outdoors, photography, reading, golf, playing in a coed recreational soccer league, and spending time with her family. She also serves as a Trustee on the Board of Trustees of Shrewsbury Montessori School.
